At Opus restaurant, ideally located in the heart of Birmingham’s Colmore Business District, we have two private dining rooms which are chic and modern but warm and inviting.

The rooms
Each private room is ideal for an intimate dinner party or private business function and can seat 30 people comfortably; for a larger event we open them into one room that can seat up to 70 people.
Opus One has one wall entirely made of beautiful large doors which can be closed to create complete privacy, or can be opened on to the bar to share its atmosphere.
Opus Two has rich colours of Siena red and heather green and remains entirely private.
The menu
Choose from our seasonal set price menus which start at £30.75 for 3 courses with coffee or perhaps you have a bespoke menu in mind.
Our chef director David Colcombe’s modern British menu is market fresh allowing the quality of raw ingredients to shine through dishes that are simple, yet bursting with flavour. They represent an outstanding commitment to seasonality and freshness.
The occasion
With our flexible approach to private dining, we take enquiries for different types of events, from small dinner parties, to larger affairs. Business lunches with presentations or breakfasts serving full English breakfast (for more than 20 people) are very popular.
We consider exclusive use of the restaurant, and hold a number of exclusive anniversary parties and business launches throughout the year.
Chef’s Table
Book a table to dine in the kitchen
The Chef’s Table is the equivalent of culinary theatre: Your ringside seat introduces the full sounds, smells and sights of a professional kitchen at work. The kitchen brigade prepares your tasting menu from that morning’s market fresh produce.
It seats up to 8 people and is £75 per person for five courses. For £100 per head, we match wines to each course.
